Extracted in the province of Massa-Carrara.
Originating in the large basin of Gioia, since the 1970s the quarry has been cultivated with diamond wire in the open without the use of explosives, cultivated with the classic method of overturning the bank. All the rules are scrupulously observed to reduce the environmental impact to a minimum and for optimal waste management.

Grain, background and veins

Very fine grain, not visible to the naked eye.
Basically uniform neutral white with possible light gray shades.
Light veins of typically medium-fine size with a sometimes reticular, sometimes more regular parallel, sometimes more tenuous morphology, of a medium-dark gray colour.
