Origin and Extraction
“Bardiglio Nuvolato” marble is a type of gray marble extracted in the Lunigiana area, in the municipality of Carrara in Tuscany, Italy. Lunigiana is a region that is home to some of the oldest marble quarries in the world, with a history of quarrying dating back some 2,500 years.
Since the 70s cultivated with diamond wire in the open without the use of explosives, the quarry is cultivated with the classic method of overturning the bank, and all the regulations are scrupulously observed to minimize environmental impact and for optimal waste management.
